Assertiveness
A two-day workshop which develops the skills required to use assertive behaviours and achieve win/win outcomes. Inputs cover behavioural choices, beliefs and values that underpin assertive behaviour, levels of assertiveness, assertive language and physiology. Participants work on live issues in role plays, some of which are video-taped so that they can be reviewed with the trainer.
Consultancy Skills
A two or three-day workshop which develops the skills required to operate effectively as an internal consultant. The workshop focuses on the Entry phase of the Consultancy Cycle. Inputs cover gathering data, assessing resourcefulness, scoping and identifying the work and developing authority. Participants work on live issues in role plays, some of which are audio-taped so that they can be reviewed with the trainer.
Developing People
A two-day workshop which develops the skills required to support people to improve their skills and develop their potential. Inputs cover strategies for team development, development planning, coaching structures and skills. Participants work on live issues in role plays, some of which are audio-taped so that they can be reviewed with the trainer.
Influence and Persuasion Skills
A two-day workshop which develops the strategies and skills required to build a sphere and position of influence in order to achieve goals more effectively. Inputs cover creating a sphere of influence, managing network relationships, persuasion strategies, styles and skills. Participants work on live issues in role plays, some of which are audio-taped so that they can be reviewed with the trainer.
Managing Meetings
A two-day workshop which develops the skills required to organise, manage and participate effectively in meetings. Inputs cover the basics of agenda-setting and recording output and the skills of managing process. Participants hold meetings to work together on a project during the workshop and receive Behaviour Analysis-based feedback to improve their interactive skills.
Mentoring Skills
A two-day workshop which develops the skills required to effectively mentor people who are not direct reports. Inputs cover the scope and function of mentoring, structuring the mentoring relationship, conducting a mentoring session and deep listening skills. Participants mentor each other in live sessions which are audio-taped so that they can be reviewed with the trainer.
Performance Management
A two-day workshop which develops the skills required to effectively manage the performance of direct reports. Inputs cover setting objectives, critical feedback, reviewing skills and appraisal planning. Participants work on live issues in role plays, some of which are audio- taped so that they can be reviewed with the trainer.
Presentation Skills
A two-day workshop which develops the skills required for the planning, preparation and delivery of effective presentations. Inputs cover a structured approach to planning and preparation, design and use of visual aids, using body language, voice, and language effectively, and developing personal style. Participants make three presentations during the workshop some of which are video-taped and reviewed with the trainer.
