Influence and Persuasion Skills
Objectives
After the programme participants will be able to:
- Develop their sphere of influence
- Plan to improve their networks and networking skills
- Adapt their behaviour to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Plan for different persuasion scenarios
- Adapt their persuasion style according to the context of the scenario and needs of the person
- Use the pull style of persuasion , based on effective questioning

- Managing effective relationships
- Persuasion styles
- Persuasion scenarios
- Persuasion strategies
Process
The programme design has five main elements:
- reflection on your current contribution as an influencer / persuader
- inputs on the content areas described above
- practice in the form of case studies / role plays
- feedback on performance during role plays
- planning specific steps to improve your contribution back at work
